The Negev Desert

The Negev Desert forms the majority of the Jewish State (60% of the land) although it has less than 5% of the Israeli population. The Negev is a paradise for nature and adventure lovers. It contains magnificent craters, mountains, deep ravines and crevices, flora and fauna and geological wonders such as the sand stone mountains in the Timna Valley seen here.
